Restyling and furnishing advice for a newly built villa in Aprilia (LT) … the interior design work and furnishing advice, together with the light and color projects, involved a total area of around 400 square meters (distributed over four levels).
On the ground floor, at garden level, there is the living room (entrance/living room/study area/kitchen and dining room) … on the first floor there is the sleeping area dedicated to children (two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a laundry room), on the top floor there is the sleeping area reserved for the owners of the house (a large suite with bathroom and wardrobe inside).
In the basement, instead, (at the garage level) there is a more informal area still under construction.
A classic layout with some concessions to design and shabby chic style … a melting pot that has made the interiors of this house of character.
Natural oak planks as a floor, classic references in the boiserie, in the stuccoes and the white lacquered solid doors, large windows overlooking terraces and a contemporary-inspired garden.
At the entrance a nineteenth century secretarie houses a collection of traditional white ceramic vases by Enza Fasano from Grottaglie…. the conversation area, in the living room, is furnished with sofas and armchairs from the “Next” series by Gervasoni in mud-colored black-edged console/desk in white lacquered oak always by Gervasoni (antique Sheffield objects).
Lamps (both from the ground and the wall) in glossy satin-finish steel from the “Ambra” line by Anna Lari.
In the bookcase/boiserie, of cabinetmaking, stands a pair of ceramic vases/sculpture by Nicola Fasano (Grottaglie).
In the study corner, located in the representative area of the house, the “Qwerty” stainless steel desk with leather pad, the leather “Kate” chair and the “Estoril” bookcase (all by Cattelan Italia) are the masters.
On the walls, there are 19th-century themed engravings (stoves/fireplaces/door/furniture). The kitchen, with an adjoining dining room, is more informal…table and chairs (“Gray” collection) by Gervasoni, ceramic details by Grottaglie (Nicola Fasano) and a series of antique prints on the walls (the kitchen in white lacquer is the “Favilla” by Scavolini).
The master bedroom (structure as a hotel suite with both the bathroom and wardrobe inside) was furnished in Parisian style…black commode, Apulian ceramic vases (CNF Grottaglie), bronzed brass lamps (Anna Lari), a series of late 19th century engravings (Antiquarito Eufemi – Rome), a pair of old gold/white armchairs lined with black velvet and a bed in mud velvet with a black border and coordinated bench (Bolzan).
The walk-in closet was made to a design in cabinetmaking…an antique dressing table, a dove-gray striped wallpaper (Nobilis) and a large shower were inserted in the bathroom.
