Giampiero Peia has a highly respected curriculum: he was a collaborator of Luca Meda, an assistant of Ignazio Gardella and a former partner of Piero Lissoni. In 2006, together with his wife Marta Nasazzi, Giampiero Peia founded Peia Associati.
The study deals with design in a wide range of specialties, ranging from private residences to villas, open spaces, public buildings and sports facilities. “From the city to the spoon”, from urban planning to product design. Peia Associati conducts continuous research for innovation, studying and applying the latest generation materials and technologies.
Among the most recent works is the Coca-Cola pavilion at Milan Expo 2015, which won the prestigious Leadership title in the “Towards a Sustainable Expo” programme. Currently Studio Peia is working on a masterplan for the city of Shanghai including two residential towers and a commercial area, the project for the XIX room at the UN headquarters in Geneva, the layout for an eco-resort in the Maldives and the private residence of the Emir of Qatar in Doha.
