Stonecycle Showroom Milan
In the PopUp Gallery in Pontaccio street in Brera Area, Mr. Mottini has designed an installation that is about the world of this new brand.
He designed and created specifically for this project the showcases in Marble Calacata Borghini. These seemingly massive and heavy stone elements are dematerialized by the use of light that inside shines the gold-colored veins of the marble.
On the wall, slabs of various types of marble have been installed in a geometric succession of shapes that frame the objects of the five senses line of Stonecycle.
Another material used for the set-up is the rough wood, the usual material used to transport marble slabs in containers, and which has been used since ancient times to transport Carrara marble blocks to the sea.
Wood is combined with precious marble to emphasize their indissoluble “trait d’union”.
The Marble is transformed from a simple covering to design objects, in a continuous game of shapes and volumes.
