House Refurbishing Vicenza

Contra’ Cantarane is a retrofitting project involving the last two levels of a historic building in Vicenza.
The aim of the intervention was to contextualise the spaces to the needs of contemporary living, without however losing touch with the tradition of class and elegance that accompanied the history of the building. The distribution of the residence’s surfaces, which are not unlimited for a luxury flat, has therefore privileged the public and convivial aspect, dedicating great importance to the double-height living area with art deco references. Upstairs the wooden ceilings have been removed for greater living space, and replaced by a contemporary design painted steel roof and two tub terraces.
