Green, Blue… Teal!
At first it appeared as out of the ordinary colour on the fashion accessories, then it conquered clothes and finally came to the world of furnishings.
Let’s talk about one of the coolest shades of the moment: teal! This is a special blue-green tint, created in the late 1950s, whose name – perhaps because of its unstable and changing appearance – can also be associated to that of the antiknock component of common gasoline: octane. Whether it is a padded sofa, a furnishing or an occasional seat, there is no piece of design that has not yet undergone the intense and decisive charm of teal.

On the occasion of the Salone del Mobile, the Eu/phoria chairs by Euenes were “dressed again” with alcantara fabrics. A teal coloured version is among the special editions. Gio Ponti’s project for this solid Ash wood chair has been preserved for years in the company’s archives.
