From the far away bazar of Teheran, the Sahrais began long journeys throughout Persia and the Caucasus in search of extraordinary carpets. Over time, their search for rare, high quality pieces was carried over to the international markets. The knowledge of materials and working methods are today the basis for the development of SAHRAI new collections.

A synergistic internal design studio comes up with creative ideas able to meet the needs of the most demanding markets, preserving the intrinsic elegance of home furnishing and giving it a special touch.

As citizens of the world, the Sahrais have united their native know-how of oriental carpet weaving with the elegance of occidental interiors in order to harmoniously fulfil the global interior design demand with exclusive handmade carpet collections.

SAHRAI’s design studio and showroom are located in Via Manzoni, in the heart of Milan.

HOME Italia collaborator and architect Anna Iuliano has chosen the quality of Sahrai’s finest carpets for one of her latest projects.
