The Company was created in 1972 , then has been constantly developed with pride by Ulivi family. Ulivi Salotti is located in the city of Cascina , just few km away from Florence and Pisa , cities with centuries of tradition in the arts of woodworking , which transferred part of their cultural heritage to Ulivi’s background. The product is an elegant mix of selected materials : all leathers , woods and precious raw materials ensure that unmistakable look and quality that go far beyond a simple aesthetic
appearance. The Company was born with leather , and still introduces an exclusive selection of colors and finish which make Ulivi’s products simply unique . The vegetable tanning process is a slow , patient , eco-friendly , deep dyeing work . The leathers are then finished with natural oils or waxes achieving a very natural quality which gains value over the time. Ulivi leathers are offered in different categories : for example , “Kashmir” and “Grassé”, special kinds of Nabuk featuring several colors which can be only offered by Ulivi Salotti . The external structures , the internal frames of all products are made of solid or multi-ply woods , able to ensure a total quality across time . The veneers used are also skillfully and carefully applied to each piece of furniture , result of a know-how coming from many years of experience. Sofas , armchairs , beds are upholstered with great care . The best goose feathers together with fillings used with different hardness and density , keep the product comfort unchanged during the time.
