From the project developed by Bencore with Autogrill, the first operator in the world in catering services for travelers, comes a key material in the current idea of circular economy: Wasbottle, in fact, is obtained from recycled and recyclable plastic flakes and it was created to satisfy all those design professionals who want to use materials with an authentically ‘green’ soul for the realization of furniture components such as tables, shelves, tops, partition elements and opaque coating. 

The Wasbottle variants come with two types of production: standard, that is continuous, and one-off, that is in limited edition.

For the standard production of Wasbottle, two variants are proposed:

1. Wasbottle Paint: 100% recycled and recyclable HDPE. Paint to represent an original texture that refers to the pictorial technique of pointillism or dripping, evoking the art of Pollock and Kandisky.
2. Wasbottle Sky: 100% recycled and recyclable PETG. Sky to indicate the blue of the sky when it is particularly clear, a clear reference to nature.

There are also two variants for one-off production

3. Wasbottle One-Off: Peach, 100% recycled and recyclable PETG. The predominance of peach shades comes from the mix of pink and orange, both present in the texture of the material itself.
4. Wasbottle One-Off: Magma, 100% recycled and recyclable PETG. Dark and intense like volcanic magma, this texture is also crossed by the most vibrant shades of lava when it glows.  

Bencore presented at Fuorisalone 2022 in Milan the installation “Table de Pierre“. Conceived and designed by the internationally renowned architect Italo Rota using entirely the Wasbottle material, “Table de Pierre” is a pure and 100% sustainable project because it does not contain pastes or glues.
